Blacklists and whitelists allow you to prevent or allow customers orders that match specific criteria, such as email address or order end postcode.
Blacklists give you the ability to prevent all orders from customers that match specific criteria. For example, you want to block all orders that are delivered to postcode EC1A 4SD.
Whitelists give you the ability to allow all orders from customers that match specific criteria. For example, you want to allow all orders from a customer with the email firstname.lastname@example.org. If customers have criteria listed on the whitelist, Ravelin will never prevent them.
Managing Blacklists & Whitelists in the Dashboard
In the Rules section, you'll find options to manage your blacklists and whitelists.
To create a blacklist, click Add blacklist. You'll be prompted to enter details about what you want to blacklist.
After you've entered your blacklist's criteria, you can also test the blacklist. This will show you the impact the blacklist has on your customer base and how many people would have been prevented based on the last 7 days of data.
To make the blacklist live, click the Add and enable button.
